Intercoms questions

Straight answers on integration, internet and routing.

Still unsure? Talk to an engineer

Do intercoms work with access control?

Yes. Intercoms integrate with our access control systems so staff can verify a visitor and release the door from one screen, with every entry logged.

Do intercoms need internet?

Local calls between the door station and indoor stations work on their own. Internet adds mobile answering and remote door release.

Can staff answer from their phones?

Yes. Employees can answer and release the door from the app, which is ideal without a receptionist or after hours.

Do you support multi-tenant buildings?

Yes. A touchscreen directory lets visitors find a tenant or department and routes the call to the right station, phone or app.

Are door stations weatherproof?

Outdoor-rated models are available for entries exposed to rain, heat and sun.

Can calls go to different departments?

Yes. Each destination sets its own answering rules and door release rights, and unanswered calls can forward elsewhere.
